Constable Mike Mahon also highlighted the importance of the initiative in preventing fraud. He shared with CTV News, “If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.” He advised users to be cautious, especially if the other party hesitates to meet at a secure location. This hesitation could be a potential red flag.
