YouTuber and content creator Mr Beast explained how much he’s really worth
MrBeast is the biggest YouTuber in the world, and has always been transparent with his businesses and how he makes content.
The American content creator has over 364 million subscribers and upwards of 73.3 billion views, which equates to everyone on Earth watching nine of his videos, and then some.
Real name Jimmy Donaldson, the YouTuber has built an empire across social media, and has even started several business ventures as he has grown in stature.
Some of these include Feastables, which Donaldson claims is ‘the largest ethically sources chocolate company’ in the US, and MrBeast Burger, an eatery that has over 2,000 virtual locations across the world.
But now, the entrepreneur and influencer revealed exactly how much he has in the bank, and how much his businesses are worth.
The 26-year-old was a guest on Steven Bartlett’s Diary of a CEO podcast, where he spoke about everything from how he got successful to how he deals with hate, or even if he plans to quit making content altogether.
But host Bartlett finally built up to the question while speaking about Donaldson’s businesses, simply asking: “Are you a billionaire?”
He replied: “On paper, yeah. But in my actual bank account, I have less than $1 million (£793,000).”
MrBeast added that he doesn’t actually pay himself much, explaining: “[I pay myself] a little bit, but I also have some assistants and things like that, so I try to pay myself what I spend personally, a month, just to stay even.”

Bartlett pointed out that, while many others would make money to sort themselves out for the future, while Donaldson sees money as a reinvestment opportunity.
“Money is fuel to grow a business,” the content creator stated, saying that it’s all one continuous cycle.
He said that you should look for business opportunities that ‘you enjoy, are better for mother nature, or Earth, or people’, as doing this gives him a ‘fulfilled life’.
“When I’m 70, I don’t want to look back and have regrets,” the content creator told Bartlett.
If you think MrBeast is coming to the end of his run as the viral creator, you’d be dead wrong.
He says that enough is never enough when it comes to building businesses, likening the process to a video game that’s ‘fun’.
Donaldson pointed out: “I think if I was just doing mundane things like everyone else, I probably would be bored as f***,” admitting that this would drive him to retirement.
Passion, drive, and being worth 10 figures, eh? It might be time to break your cameras out.
