In Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, Georgie Cooper (Montana Jordan) and Mandy McAllister (Emily Osment) are newlyweds trying to raise a child while navigating their 12-year age difference.
The couple face an added challenge when they decide to move into McAllister’s parents’ (Rachel Bay Jones and Will Sasso) home.
The CBS series, which is a sequel to Young Sheldon and a prequel to The Big Bang Theory, also features cameos from Mandy’s brother, Connor McAllister (Dougie Baldwin) and Georgie’s mom, Mary Cooper (Zoe Perry). When Mandy isn’t balancing the dynamics of her family, she spends time with her friend and co-worker Beth (Casey Wilson).

Montana Jordan, who reprises his role as Cooper from Young Sheldon, has been with his fiancée, Jenna Weeks, since high school. The couple made their relationship public when they were seniors in high school in 2021.
In January 2024, Jordana and Weeks announced that they were expecting their first child. They welcomed daughter Emma Rae Jordan in May.
“It’s been great for me, man. There’s nothing better,” Jordan told PEOPLE of fatherhood in September 2024. “There’s nothing better than freaking being a dad. There’s nothing better, for sure.”

Emily Osment
Emily Osment, who plays Cooper’s older wife Mandy McAllister, is currently single since filing for divorce from her ex-husband, Jack Anthony, in March 2025.
Osment filed five months after they tied the knot on Oct. 12, 2024, citing irreconcilable differences. Their divorce was settled three days later.
“I think with any big decision in your life, whether it’s relationships or work or whatever it may be, you have to firmly plant both feet in that decision,” she said in a statement to PEOPLE at the time. “Ultimately, it didn’t work out.”
Rachel Bay Jones and Benim Foster
Rachel Bay Jones, who plays Mandy’s quirky mom and Georgie’s tough mother-in-law, is in a relationship with actor Benim Foster.

Casey Wilson and David Caspe
Wilson, who plays Mandy’s friend and co-worker Beth, is married to David Caspe. The couple tied the knot in May 2014 after getting engaged the year before.
Wilson and Caspe hit it off after she auditioned for the hit sitcom Happy Endings, which he created, in 2010. They went on to work together on the shows Marry Me and Black Monday.
