The cows joined the family’s five horses, now housed in a custom “forever barn.” Beekeeping became another venture, with Underwood hinting that donkeys might soon join their growing menagerie.
The farm’s bounty includes apple and peach trees, plus berry shrubs like blueberries and blackberries. “My goal is to not buy food from the store anymore,” Underwood once shared, emphasizing her commitment to seasonal eating.

A fall that changed everything
The decision to embrace farm life wasn’t without hurdles. Security concerns, unauthorized visitors, and a serious fall requiring over 40 stitches to Underwood’s face tested their resolve.
These factors eventually led the couple to list the property for $1.45 million. Yet, through personal trials—including multiple miscarriages—Underwood and Fisher leaned on their faith.
After welcoming Isaiah in 2015, they faced losses before Jacob’s healthy birth in 2019. “You heard me,” Underwood said of her answered prayers, crediting divine strength for their family’s completion.
